- A meditative retreat in the form of a fun, kinesthetic learning experience.
- A highly effective workshop that will enhance your rhythm awareness and expression while leaving you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
TaKeTiNa in Music
Participants will be gently guided into various "rhythm journeys" -- playful exercises that harness the innate intelligence of the human body to organize itself into rhythm.
-- No previous music experience is necessary. --
Yet accomplished musicians will be challenged.
These polyrhythmic journeys have been designed, and highly refined over the past 40 years, to bring beginning and advanced practitioners alike right to their optimal edge of learning -- at the same time, and in a joyful way.
For beginners and intermediate musicians the main focus of learning will be surrendering control, developing profound rhythmic orientation and discovering archetypical rhythmic building blocks. For professional musicians TaKeTiNa is a unique tool for developing groove and flow in your playing.
TaKeTiNa for Personal Growth
Creator Reinhard Flatischler has called TaKeTiNa a "spiritual path using rhythm for the evolution of human consciousness." For four decades people across Europe - and increasingly in the U.S. - have been discovering TaKeTiNa as their personal path. Those who have walked it for many years report improvements in relationships and also in their ability to stay present, relaxed, and vital.
Ta Ke Ti Na uses sensuous rhythmic experiences as a pathway into states of consciousness that are essential to many forms of personal growth work: More than a musical practice, TaKeTiNa is a practice in inner silence and presence through being in the Here and Now. The experience can be magical, joyful, and powerful and each "rhythm journey" can be life-transforming.
